Time and Youth

Francis Morilao

She never fails every time,
Never admits her hidden crime;
Boastful for her righteousness,
Pretending that nobody cares.

Constant as he meets her,
He also never fails;
But change, also he bares,
To them who always dare.

As their bodies collide,
Pure happiness subside.

These bodies will perish and mirrors offer no truth,
Perfect time abides beyond the corridors of youth.

To her who always desire,
To him who’s on her mind;
Youth and time can’t be denied,
The truth we cannot hide.

  1. Life In Poems

    This is the reason why time is more precious than money. Time will fade, youth will fade, we only live once.
